After Asaram Bapu, more allegations have surfaced against Kripalu Maharaj. A person who goes by the name of ‘insider’ for the fear of his life, has sent in the following note:
“I was an insider (I mean a real insider) in Kripalu Maharajji’s organization. I was extremely devoted to him and to his organization and had many spiritual experiences and great spiritual insights. I later found out that spiritual experiences arise out of your own sincerity and efforts and have nothing to do with the so-called guru or teacher. After all, God or Krishna (call him what you will) is still there, and He responds to sincere seekers regardless of how big a fraud the teacher is.
My heart was broken and I was annihilated when slowly but surely, the fraudulent nature of Kripalu Maharajji’s mission became known to me. There were many, many examples of corruption of the mission that came before me, before I took the extremely difficult step of renouncing this teacher and organization. I could write a book on this, but I’ll simply sum-up some key points for those of you that have an open mind on such things. Trust me (actually trust yourself), without willingness to stand-up for the truth, you will never get anywhere spiritually.
1. Kripalu Maharaj definitely has an obsession with sex, although he teaches others that there is no ‘anand’ in this world. There have been many instances of very creditable reports and charges against him. Most of these are from very good and sincere people that are bastions of the community and really sincere to God. However, modesty, embarrassment and the fear of a powerful organization that could hurt makes them hesitate to speak out. The father of the girls from Nagpur that took the case against him all the way to the Indian Supreme Court was a rare and very brave exception. This father could have settled easily for large amounts of money that Kripalu’s organization would have been too willing to pay to end this case. That he and his daughters fought and are still fighting for justice shows that they are not motivated by money or fame. They just want justice!
2. This is how it works today. To sit in Maharajjis presence, to touch his feet, to have coffee with him, to drink charanamrit and even to be hit by his slippers means that there is a charge. They call it ’seva,’ but basically nothing is free. Have a chappal hit you and enjoy the ‘grace’ of ‘chappal seva, ‘ then pay $100 for the privilege!
3. However, there is one special ’seva’ open only to women. A secret ’seva’ called ‘charan seva’ that is free. For this, Maharajji’s preachers take all the unknowing women into the room where Maharajji is lying on his bed. The lights are dimmed and the women surround him and press his body. The most attractive women are positioned around his pillow and within reach of his hands. The lights are then turned-out completely, giving Maharajji the chance to grope the pretty women close to him. If they do not pull back, they are invited to stay behind!!
4. Maharajji’s children and grand-children often travel with him at the cost of ‘devotees’ donations. Their slightest wishes, no matter how materialistic are again fulfilled at ‘devotees’ expense. Huge sums of money are raised through ’sevas’ with little if any accounting of where it goes while no expense is spared for the ‘divine family.’ Any spiritual person can tell that this family is quite materialistic and have no spiritual virtues. Maharajji himself is driven around India in a Mercedes.
5. Brainwashing is accomplished by telling ‘devotees’ to not read or listen to any other teachings and to limit their association with only ‘devotees.’ Maharajji wears special scents to create the impression that his body exudes divine fragrances and the entire field of senses is used to create the aura of divinity. His publicity department is the most professional and his preachers claim that he is the most divine descention ever, greater even than Krishna or Rama!
6. In Trinidad, Maharajji’s organization is called Radha Madhav society. It’s head in Trinidad is called Didiji. She is yet another fraud whose last organization in Oklahoma had to be shut down because of many sexual allegations against her and her relationship with Kripalu Maharaj. Even her web-site was erased so that nothing embarrassing about her would come out.
Does this organization do any good? Well yes, probably the hospitals in India (I think) do some good and if ‘devotees’ use the temples of this organization only to help in their own search for God they are indeed benefited (once again, because of their own sincerity and efforts). But if you get too close, your pockets will get picked and your efforts towards God will be changed to efforts for and only for Maharajji. Also, please keep your women out of his room!
Is this organization uniquely corrupt? Oh no! All Hindu, Christian, Muslim, Sikh, Buddhist, Jewish, Parsi etc organizations are corrupt to a large degree. Buddha said that ‘I point out the moon to you and you turn around and worship my finger!’ As soon as the truth is spoken, the followers start corrupting. But in this case, this has gone much too far and too many wonderful, well meaning people who have given everything for God have been badly hurt! Have no fear of speaking out! See how bravely the woman from Guyana has spoken, and earlier how bravely the father and girls from Nagpur have too! Please do not further victimize these victims by saying that they want publicity or want to strike a deal. These are great, brave women whom I salute!
God cannot be separate from the truth, and the truth is that Maharajji is a fallen saint (not an eternal one). There is no joy in saying this, but rather sadness. It is a sacred duty to truth and dharma.”
There are also other numerous stories around him that exist on the net. I think its time when Kripalu talks to these in an open platform and resolve the differences.

Kripalu Maharaj — tried for raping three minors in Nagpur and case went to Indian Supreme Court that reprimanded the Nagpur High Court for being ‘influenced’ and asked them to try him again. The case is still going on.
Visited the US for the 1st time resulting in numerous charges of molestation, including with minors and oral sex.
Then went to Trinidad and was charged with raping another young Indian girl. Case had to be dismissed because the girls family and police were paid off and the girl terrorized. His Ashram (Barsana Dham) in the US coorced his devotees to donate hundreds of thousands of $$’s for the pay-offs.
His disciple Siddeshwari Didi has a similarl shady past as to some of his other male disciples.
His leading disciple Swami Prakashanand Saraswati charged in Austin Texas with 20 counts of molesting minor girls.
All these relevations led to hundreds of former disciples all over the world speaking out and flooding blogs with similar personal incidents.
Could go on and on. For brainwashed fools, no amount of evidence seems to be able to break them from the stranglehold thesefrauds have on them! What a shame.

Kripalu Ji maharaj is not yet proved guilty. so how can you say the same thing about him. you know ver well how much the journalists can be believed or how much truth the TV channels really potray. Im a very devoted girl. but my devotion was betrayed by this organization and this man who calls himself God.
I was hardly 18 when this happened.
I was there in the ashram for sadhna program 2 years ago with my friend whom i will not name here along with my family. I was called along with my friend for ‘charan seva’.
As i was asked we went inside and Im so ashamed to tell what happens inside. As the lights are dimmed we were asked to go close to him, when he starts groping and fondling us.. We were confused but kept quite, partly because of fear and were scared. Iv seen little underaged girls, boys and even his daughters inside
We were also asked for other sevas, like snan seva (were girls go when he bathes in nude, ratri seva.
I was shattered. And all along the women around him who are more like pimps tried to brain wash us telling he is god and we shouldnt tell anyone.

My parents and I were very impressed with the Didijis who came to preach Kripalu’s teachings in our country and as time progressed we became very engaged in weekly satsangs. Foolishly assuming that we had found a genuine guru who would enlighten us.
About a year later, we attended Kripalu’s ‘world tour’ which was held in a neighbouring country. On the morning of the second day of the programme, after meeting Kripalu for the first time, a Didiji whom I was very close to, came to me with a ‘divine proposal’. To meet Kripalu in absolute privacy, and if he were to touch me, take my clothes off or even kiss me, I was to let him do so. At that moment, I was completely shocked but managed to hold myself together, concealing my reaction and simply asked her, “Didiji, wouldn’t that be wrong?”. To which she replied, “Of course not, what is wrong about that?! He is Lord Krishna himself! You better think about it quickly as Maharajji is here only for a few more days.” I bowed down to Didiji, saying that I’ll think about it and then very calmly walked over to my mother and told her that if she had even an ounce of trust in me, to just follow me out of the premise at that very instant.
And so we came out, called my father, he fetched us and we’ve never looked back since. Thank God!
We respected the Didiji with utmost reverence but she turned out to be a bloody pimp! They may be covering up very well by building hospitals, schools and providing for the poor but are ultimately using religion and spirituality to persuade innocents into dishonourable acts. To those who believe in their goodness, why don’t you test the theory for yourself by setting up an event to expose the truth? Their acts can’t possibly tarnish the purity and significance of the oldest religion known to man, but I am worried about people like myself who can fall into their trap. I am strong so I was unaffected, think of those who are emotionally distressed and desperately looking for some kind of answer and meaning to life. Don’t be foolish because he is human after all and this is Kalyug. When God descends on Earth to save humankind from oppression ( in accordance with the Bhagvat Geeta ), he will not proclaim to the world that he is the Almighty Himself, He will just grace us, silently in mysterious ways.

I m an ex follower. I would strongly advice not to go to the ashram and keep away from their activities. They keep telling not to use your brain because of “namaparadh”. F####ing me, I donated my first month salary when I was small. Afterwards found lots and lots of irregularities. Please stay away from all these ashrams.

When I read comments like ‘we thought we found a genuine guru who would enlighten us’ or similar notions I can help but say where’s your sanity people? don’t you know that enlightement comes with self practice? nobody will give it to you, not even the saintest saint! Maharaji can inspire, radiate, influence by setting up an example but he will not do anything for you or in your stead. It’s just such a common mistake – waiting for a saviour who will change everything in a blink of an eye and all people will live happily ever after!
Then if this awaited enlightement does not happen and generous donations don’t seem to work either – what to do, who’s to blame? oh, yes, of course, let’s blame it on Maharaji or any other so called guru! let’s tell dirty gossips, lets spread the news of their frauds! but I tell you, if your minds were working you would not fall into this trap.
Sex is good and natural to all embodied beings. sex can be joy or an enlightening practice. if one does not see any benefits to that, it’s enough to say NO and walk away, without feeling offended. or chosen.

I had said that ‘we assumed we had found a genuine guru who would enlighten us’ , let me explain a little more as you have clearly taken it too literally or perhaps are a little dimwitted to understand. A Guru is one who dispels darkness away, in other words provides enlightenment for those who have not fully grasped a particular subject, in this case, Spirituality. This is just the same as attending a learning institution, a university for example, to pick up knowledge and skills that will enable us to move further in life. Now if I had a problem in understanding Newton’s Law of Gravitation, would I seek a knowledgeable Physics lecturer for an indepth explanation or will the answer come to me from within by self practice??? Is the knowledge of Physics so different than the knowledge of Spirituality? Clearly, one would go to a person who has read widely in that particular field so that he or she may share the knowledge garnered by them. Me and my family were most definately not wanting to be ’saved’! We live a very simple, blissful and meaningful existence, we just wanted to learn more from a man who was chosen by 50 or 60 other learned men of the teachings of our religion. We are happy people which is why we were not caught up by the acts and antics that go around Maharaj Kripalu and his preachers. We did not fall for it but left and kept no contact whatsoever.
I completely agree with you, sex can be joy or an enlightening practice. It can be the best experience in life! If this organisation is engaging in sex and think that it is the most sacred passage to Spirituality, then they must proclaim to this OPENLY! Like what Osho @ Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh did in his time. And not suggest it behind hidden doors, people should know what they’re getting themselves into. Do not claim something but do something else. When a person buys a pack of biscuits, the ingredients clearly state the exact contents of it so that the consumer can judge whether it’s fit for their consumption or not. So that we can say NO and walk away. So there are people to be blamed in this organisation as they do not clearly state what goes on inside!

there are plenty of gurus in india ,but its our duty to find the best one ,and bhagvat geeta gives us benchmark to test a guru.i have found the best one who is perfectly following all rules given in bhagavat .i can tell u some of those rules in hindi.

Well done Meghana, I really admire your writings. I am very happy to see that you are making people aware by writing about these Gurus, Maharajs and Swamis. A very big unfortunate of this country is we still have people like Mr. Raju GAAn-dhat who knows the truth but have problem accepting it because people like them have been following such fraud Gurus whole life….. But n reality none of these people will ever send their wife, sister or daughter to such Gurus because they know the truth.

I have had intensive reasearch this is frad,he and his organasation misleading the public for the material gains. There is no sprituality what so ever, he and his organization is total frad, he and his people should be in
